Apple’s iPhone 17

Apple has just announced its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is three refreshed versions of existing models and the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which is replacing the iPhone Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn't your style, and you still wish to grab one at the earliest opportunity, you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, in advance of the September 19th release date.

The iPhone 17 has a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the new A19 chip is more powerful and more optimized, particularly when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll see a significant jump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more detailed.

About to upgrade to the iPhone 17?, don't worry about searching for a suitable case, as there will be a wide variety of cases to pick from. Campad Electronics, a leading Australian retailer of mobile phone accessories, already has cases listed for all iPhone 17 models, so you can find something that matches your taste. This is a good opportunity to explore different designs, materials and styles to make your device your own while keeping it safe.
